Rural Landholder Recovery Grants - 2025 North and Far North Tropical Low

The Rural Landholder Recovery Grant Scheme offers grants of up to $10,000 for clean-up and reinstatement activities to help rural landholders pay for the costs of clean-up and reinstatement of their primary production enterprise that has suffered damage as a result of the North and Far North Tropical Low, commencing 29 January 2025.

Eligibility

Eligible local government areas include only local government areas activated for the Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants for Primary Producers:

  • Burdekin Shire Council
  • Cairns Regional Council
  • Cassowary Coast Regional Council
  • Charters Towers Regional Council
  • Flinders Shire Council
  • Hinchinbrook Shire Council
  • Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council
  • Townsville City Council
  • Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council

Funding acknowledgement

The package is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their recovery from North and Far North Tropical Low, commencing 29 January 2025.
